'Revenge of the Nerds' Star Robert Carradine Divorcing Wife of 25 Years

Robert Carradine, best known as the fraternity president Lewis Skolnick in the Revenge of the Nerds movies, is divorcing his wife of 25 years, Edith "Edie" Mani. The couple have reportedly been separated since July, according to TMZ.

Carradine, the youngest son of the actor John Carradine, filed for divorce late last month. He is the brother of Christopher and Keith Carradine, paternal half-brother of Bruce Carradine and the late actor David Carradine, and the maternal half-brother of Michael Bowen.

The actor reportedly filed divorce papers citing the standard irreconcilable differences, with reports suggesting he is requesting spousal support from his wife.

The estranged couple have two adult children together, a daughter named Marika and a son named Ian. The actor also has a daughter named Ever Carradine with Susan Snyder.

Carradine is best known for his role in the 1984 comedy, which also starred Anthony Edwards, Ted McGinley, Timothy Busfield and Bernie CaseyThe movie was about a group of nerds that want to hit back at a college fraternity that forced them out of the freshmen dormitory.

Carradine and his now-estranged wife Edie were involved in head-on collision with a semi-truck in March 12, 2015, in Colorado.

The actor drove his car into oncoming traffic and collided with the 18-wheeler. The couple were transported to the hospital with with injuries, but are lucky to be alive.

The couple appeared on the reality series, Celebrity Wife Swap, earlier this year. The Carradines were involved in a swap with Terrell Owens and his girlfriend.
