The Scream Queens finale finally aired last night, and the true Red Devil Killer was finally revealed. Let's unpack the big reveal, and see what the actress who plays the evil killer has to say about it all. Spoilers abound!

The first half of the two hour season finale basically incriminated the entire cast, showing how the killer could be just about anyone. It started with Pete's big reveal that he killed multiple people for the Red Devil, all in the name of taking down evil fraternities and sororities everywhere (cue the Ryan Murphy Glee-like lesson of the episode!).

Pete is killed by the Red Devil right before telling Grace the killer's true identity, prompting Grace to team up with her dad who makes "the most epic playlist of all time" to seduce Dean Munsch while Zayday and Grace go through her student files to try and figure out who the killer is. Whew.

Meanwhile, Chanel takes Chanel #3 and #5 with her to apologize to Melanie Dorkus, the unfortunate sorority president and Chanel predecessor who had her face and body burnt off with acid way back in the beginning of the season, supposedly by Chanel.

Chanel #5 gets a notification on her phone and leaves suspiciously, meanwhile, Chanel tries to kill Dorkus. Grace and Zayday show up in the nick of time and stop her to reveal the killer: Hester.

Turns out, Hester is the bathtub baby and twin sister to now-dead and not gay, Boone. The two grew up in the insane asylum with Gigi as their guardian, which explains all of Hester's creepy comments, fetishes and actions throughout the show. The rest of the episode detailed how Hester got away with it (turns out, she really only killed Pete singlehandedly - crazy, right?), and banished the Chanels to a lifetime of an insane asylum, through flashbacks.

Keke Palmer, who plays Zayday on the show, teased a few weeks back that the killer was obvious. It seems she was right!

So what did star Lea Michele think of her character, Hester, being the killer? The star talked to ET about the reveal.

She says she knew just days before shooting the episode that she was the killer. She recalls when creator Ryan Murphy asked her if she was happy about being the evil mastermind:

Ryan Murphy comes up to me and he goes, 'Are you happy?' and I was like, 'I am happy, but am I going to die? What's going to happen?!' And he's like, 'No, you get away with it. I have it all worked out.' And I was like, 'OK, I guess it's good.' So I'm wearing my red devil cape today just to emphasize that I am the killer.

Michele even teased season two, saying she would love to be a part of it and is eagerly awaiting any news on the subject. She said, "Ryan shared that next year there would be a whole new killer and so to see her really in the position of being the victim, I think would be really fun to play."

The show hasn't officially been renewed for a second season, but it seems plenty of people are already onboard. Stay tuned!
