Nicki Minaj's Ex Safaree Samuels Gets Bashed on Twitter After Meek Mill Proposes

Safaree Samuels has mostly received nothing other than shade from the public and social media after his messy split with rapper Nicki Minaj. Just when all the digs have seemed to stop, the shade has started up after rapper Meek Mill proposed to the Pinkprint rapper yesterday. Twitter has not stopped bashing the rapper with "the Barbz" out in full attack.

Acoording to Bossip, Twitter has indeed roasted the infamous ex. Shortly after the 33-year-old rapper showed off her shiny new gem on Instagram, Samuels became the victim of shade.

Minaj's fans clearly have no chill.

Minaj and Samuels were together for 14 years. The "Truffle Butter" rapper was joined at the hip with Samuels for a number of years, as the two knew each other before she became the rapper that we all know and love. Samuels worked as the 33-year-old's hypeman throughout the course of their relationship.

The two split after rumors were circulating that Samuels cheated on Minaj. After speaking with The Breakfast Club, Samuels spoke his side as to why the relationship went down the drain. He claimed that he wasn't being respected in the relationship and after a while he couldn't deal. If he wanted to make the relationship work he could have but he didn't have it in him anymore.

Since the separation fans have gone back and forth about the relationship, casting blame on the other side.

While Samuels has indeed moved on with model Zashia Santiago and focusing on producing his own music projects, fans have not stopped coming for the rapper. Being that Samuels has previously said that he wishes Minaj all the best we doubt that he is even thinking about her engagement.
