Raven-Symoné Celebrates 30th Birthday on 'The View' & With Premiere of 'Growing Up Hip Hop'

Raven-Symoné just turned 30! MStars News has learned that The View co-host celebrated another year of life on Thursday, December 10. To bring in her new decade, Raven partied on The View and then ended her night at the premiere of Growing Up Hip Hop.    

The WEtv show will air on television, January 7 at 10/9c. But back to Ms. Raven's birthday -- the now 30-year-old also got a surprise by her pal, Jussie Smollett. The Empire star appeared on The View and brought along a huge three tier cake for Raven to enjoy.  

According to the Inquisitr, Raven also received white flowers from 90s boy group, Boyz II Men. On top of that, she received a special gift from Janet Jackson. That surprise included a basket full of goodies and VIP tickets to her Unbreakable Tour. The former Disney star also admitted that growing up was a challenge.

During the show on Thursday, Raven said that she has been preparing for the age of 30 her entire life. She also said that being in showbiz since she was a child also helped her prepared for adulthood, because it was like she was already grown then. During the WEtv premiere, Raven was gifted with another cake. The four tier gold cake looked yummy after she shared a photo of the dessert on Instagram.

But besides all of that! Raven's choice of style on her birthday was probably the most trending topic of discussion. The actress and talk show host decided to wear multi-colored dreads, leggings and a panda sweatshirt. Raven even had glittered eyebrows!
