It was a star-studded night at the Barbados Princess' 2nd Annual Diamond Ball Charity event in Los Angeles. Kevin Hart hosted, Lionel Richie performed and Rihanna was able to raise over $3 million dollars for the Clara Lionel Foundation, according to a press release.

Last night, the black-tie event presented by Samsung took place at The Barker Hanger in Santa Monica. The function included a four-course meal where guests like Will and Jada Smith, Kylie Jenner, Emily Ratajkowski and Zendaya among others feasted.

CEO of Live Nation, Michael Rapinoe was presented with the inaugural Diamonds Honors Award.

Rihanna stated, "When I launched the Clara Lionel Foundation in 2012, I was following the example of my grandparents, which had been passed down to my entire family. It's simple - we care about each other and we help each other. That's what I want to do for my global family, too, with a focus on health, education, art and culture."

The most exciting unveiling of the night was the Clara Lionel Foundation Global Scholarship Program, "designed to assist deserving students, the program will award full scholarships to highly motivated youth globally with recipients given the opportunity to receive an education anywhere in the United States."

Some of the other sponsors of the gala charity event were LiveNation, Puma, Roc Nation, Universal Music Group, CTMS Travel, Stance, Domo, Kendo Brands, Stargate, Todd Pederson, MAC Cosmetics, Barclays Center, Dio, Reed Smith, the powerful Will and Jada Smith among others.

Of course, we have to speak on Rihanna's fashion choice of the night. Hollywood Life reports, "RiRi looked so stunning in a gold gown at the charity event." The sleeveless dress floor length dress featured a sexy spilt. She draped a gold shawl around her shoulders. Her long locs were paired with a pair of dazzling diamonds earrings and necklace.
