Actor/musician Jared Leto is on a roll. After dominating the acting world and making his mark in the music industry Leto has transformed himself into a well-rounded Hollywood figure. Given the label of a heartthrob/sex symbol, we can see why the Gucci representatives picked Leto as the new face for the Gucci Guilty fragrance.

According to WWD, this is not the actor's first rodeo in the fragrance world. The 43-year-old actor was recently the face of Hugo Boss' fragrance "Red". The Thirty Seconds to Mars lead vocalist represents the Gucci brand in good company having succeeded actors Chris Evans and Evan Rachel Wood.

Gucci's Creative Director Alessandro Michele is set to shoot the fragrance's new campaign in Venice, Italy. With the brand looking to take a new modern approach to their overall direction, the fragrance campaign is bound to have a sexy, yet effortlessly cool vibe.

With the Italian's brand new modern direction, Gucci decided to hand over their Snapchat account to the actor. Leto will be giving fans an inside look on his perspective from set as he shoots the campaign. The actor has so far filmed his Gucci loafers strolling across the far, taken selfies and snapping shots of models while on location.

We can see why the Italian brand picked the musician to be the face of the brand. Not only is he a sex symbol, he exudes a certain level of confidence and swag that the brand is known for. Being a seasoned player in the fashion game, rubbing elbows with Karl Lagerfeld and taking chances with different fashion trends, it only makes sense to have Leto as the perfect face. Gucci was already a notable brand in the luxury world but having Leto as the face of their new brand has potential to take the Italian houses fragrance sales to another level.
