Kelly Rowland Reveals New BET Show, "Chasing Destiny" [WATCH]

Kelly Rowland revealed some interesting news during her appearance of The Real. The mother-of-one isn't just sitting at home playing with her son, Titan Jewell. She is also working on a new show called Chasing Destiny.

The former Destiny's Child singer has a new BET show coming out in 2016 where she tries to put together a new young girl group. Like her teenage years of singing, Rowland is trying to make those dreams come true for young girls between the ages of

“We’ve already started the search for it [girl group]. I think what I’m most excited about is the fact that a new generation of young girls get to see comradery again with groups,” she said.

Rowland continued, “That’s what I really loved about being in a group. It goes to show women can work together they can be on one accord. I think that has to happen more.”

The singer said that some of the new girls have come in excited or they have came in like it was a reality show. She admitted that she had to check some and tell them, “this is not a reality tv show situation, I don’t want any characters.” She said she wanted “girls who were serious, who have passion, talented, and who are focused and going to be team members.”

Rowland added that it has been really interesting so far while working on the new project.
