'Hit The Floor' Returning in 2016: Stephanie Moseley Remembered One Year After Death

Hit The Floor is returning with your favorite "Devil Girls." MStars News has learned that Season 3 will premiere on Jan. 18 on VH1 at 10 p.m. ET/PT. The only thing difference is one dancer will be missing. It's been one year since fans said goodbye to Stephanie Moseley. 

On Dec. 8, her co-stars and fans remembered the late dancer after she was killed by her husband, rapper, Earl Hayes in 2014. Moseley died tragically in a murder-suicide. Main character, Ahsha [Taylour Paige] honored her late friend in a series of Instagram posts.

Moseley played the character of Arelly. She will be honored by the show during the season premiere. There is also a new Devil Girl character that will be named Stephanie.

This time around characters will include of course your favorites like, Sloane [Kimberly Elise], Ahsha [Taylour Paige], Jelena [Logan Browning], Terrence [Robert Riley], and Derek [McKinley Freeman]. Some newcomers are William Baldwin, Michael Beach, Jonathan Bennett, Kim Wayans, Lynn Whitfield and many others.

“The much anticipated season three premiere of VH1’s hit series Hit The Floor will deliver the fiery drama and plot twists that our audience loves,” Susan Levison, EVP of Programming & Development for VH1 stated. “We want to thank the show’s fans for their incredible support on social media for this exciting new chapter.”

Last season, viewers learned that Devils owner Oscar Kinkade was arrested for the murder of a Devil Girl. We also learned that Ahsha’s longtime boyfriend German also killed Olivia Vincent. She was formely the Devil Girl's coach. Ahsha obviously didn't know that her ex killed someone and rekindled a romance with him. But if you think her fling Devil's MVP Derek is over think again!
