Donald Trump Does ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’ [INTERVIEW] After Canceling Following Final GOP Debate

Back in October, Republican frontrunner Donald Trump was scheduled to appear on ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live. Unfortunately he canceled due to a "political comment." And after being skewered by Kimmel for quite some time as a result of his cancelation, it appears as if Trump decided to make things right. Just one day after the final GOP debate, Trump flew over to Los Angeles and appeared alongside Jimmy Kimmel on his ABC series.

Admitting that he took a "filthy public plane" to come see Kimmel in LA, Trump kicked off his interview discussing Tuesday night's debate. The billionaire presidential hopeful likened the events to that of the Super Bowl, much unlike the debates of the past – largely because "something happened" during this cycle.

For the record, that something was Donald J. Trump.

The former Celebrity Apprentice star then went on to note that CNN should probably give him a big paycheck as a result of the ratings, and money, he's brought them.

"They make a fortune," he said to Kimmel. "They went from $4,000 for 30 seconds to $250,000 for 30 seconds."

The back and forth between Kimmel and Trump then hit upon his attempts to be nicer to his fellow candidates during the last debate, as well as that recent, and bizarre, doctor's note. You remember, the guy who claimed that Donald Trump would be "the healthiest individual ever elected to the presidency."

So, there's that.

Over the course of the 20-minute interview, Trump also discussed his thoughts on immigration:

"Don't we want people who want to be here so badly that they will risk everything to be in America, and to be an American?" Kimmel asked. "Aren't those the people that we want in this country?"

Trump admitted it to be true, claiming that they're all "unbelievable people" but feels they have to come over in a legal fashion.
