7 Times Jamie Oliver Proved He Loves 'Star Wars' As Much As 'The Force Awakens'
Jamie Oliver is known for his culinary expertise, but you may not know that he's actually just as big of a Star Wars fan as any other person! In fact, with the new Star Wars: The Force Awakens release, the 40-year-old celebrity chef went all out fan mode on Instagram.
We've seen our fair share of celebrities geeking out over Star Wars, but Oliver really takes it to another level - he's probably dressing up in costume every chance he gets. Just in case you still can't believe that Jamie is actually a pretty cool Star Wars dad, here are a few things that could change your mind:
1. Casually bringing his kids to school:
Apparently, it was just another day of bringing his children to school as a Stormtrooper, complete with matching weapons.
According to E! News, Jamie was bringing his daughters, 13-year-old Poppy Honey Rosie Oliver, and 12-year-old Daisy Boo Pamela Oliver, to school when they snapped walking in north London.
2. Stormtrooper Trifle:
Oliver even took his fandom to the next level by creating a special "Stormtrooper Trifle" recipe. He posted the video on his YouTube account just last week.
3. On meeting Harrison Ford:
Jamie also had the pleasure of meeting Ford, who reprised his role of Han Solo for The Force Awakens. The British chef encountered the 73-year-old actor while the two were on The Jonathan Ross Show, as reported by Realty Today.
4. Getting into the Dark Side:
Last week, Jamie also shared yet another Instagram pic. Instead of his usual Stormtrooper costumer, Oliver opted for the iconic Darth Vader one instead.
Strapping on an apron and some oven mittens, Jamie shared, "Getting excited for the new Star Wars film going to see it Tuesday."
5. A dancing Stormtrooper:
For Halloween earlier this year, Oliver was on The Meredith Vieira Show in New York City to do a cooking demo. But in the spirit of the season, Jamie shared himself in costumer as he dances backstage.
6. His son's birthday party:
Jamie is definitely reaping the perks of being a dad. For his son's - Buddy Bear Maurice Oliver - fifth birthday party in September, the family decked the whole place out (including themselves) in line with the party's theme, Star Wars.
7. He's not shy with Star Wars memes:
It seemed as though Jamie Oliver was doing some major prep work for the Star Wars: The Force Awakens release. On his Instagram, Oliver posted a meme which was aptly captioned, "Love it."
