Lil Wayne did NOT die, as opposed to the death hoax rumors surfacing online. He was victim to silly rumors that the rapper was dead in the past, and this time is no exception. The reason why it is more believable is because he was hospitalized recently after he took some drugs that caused multiple seizures, iDigital Times reported. His addiction to "sizzurp," a mixture of strong sough syrup and alcohol, may not be the best thing to rap about now that he is not in a good health condition.

TMZ reported that the hospital confirmed with them that Lil Wayne is alive and still in critical condition. He is sleeping in bed as his condition continues to stabilize. Meanwhile, a little tweet came out from the rapper's Twitter to assure fans about his livelihood.

His account handler @LilTunechi was updated late afternoon with the message, "I'm good everybody. Thx for the prayers and love."

Fans responded to his sign of life with a sigh of relief and some even scolded him for his behavior. Some even doubt whether the rapper also known as Weezy F. Baby wrote the tweet himself.
