Gigi Hadid's Boyfriend Zayn Malik Shirtless in New Instagram Pic without Perrie Edwards Tattoo

After leaving One Direction, Zayn Malik has been involved in a large number of controversies, including spats with his former bandmates. Now, he begins 2016 with new girlfriend Gigi Hadid in a sexy shirtless Instagram snap, where the model has carefully kept one thing hidden: the tattoo he has of Malik's ex fiancé, Little Mix singer Perrie Edwards!

Last Saturday, 20-year-old reality star turned supermodel Hadid went on Instagram to post a sweet snap of her new boyfriend wearing pants and no shirt – which would make visible a tattoo he has of his ex. Of course, Hadid's expert photo-taking skills managed to take the picture in an angle where that particular ink wasn't visible.

According to Perez Hilton, the former boy band star has a huge tattoo in his right arm that's a caricature depiction of Edwards, with whom was engaged until last year, when he reportedly dumped the beautiful English blonde through text.

There have been no reports of Malik getting the tattoo removed or even getting something else over it (which seems unlikely because it's pretty massive, covering up most of his upper arm), and obviously his new love isn't too crazy about the ex staring at her in tattoo form.

In any case, Us Weekly reports that Malik and Hadid have been getting cozier with each other via social media over the past few weeks; in mid-December, the One Direction alum went on Instagram to post an adorable picture of the two of them.

Last year, Hadid was linked to another product of boy band craze, dating Joe Jonas for most of 2015 until splitting up amicably last fall, only a few days before it was first reported that she and Malik were an item.

Be that as it may, the two make a ridiculously attractive pair!
