Anne Hathaway Confirms Pregnancy With Bikini Picture Showing Off Baby Bump [PHOTO]

After months of speculation as paparazzi caught Anne Hathaway sporting a belly in her usually slim figure, the Oscar-winning Les Miserables actress has finally admitted to being pregnant with first child with husband Adam Shulman through a sweet bikini Instagram snap.

According to Vanity Fair, Hathaway jumped at sharing the snap as she was vacationing with her husband during the Christmas break, because she was at the beach with Shulman and it turned out that paparazzi started arriving -- so the star decided to show off her bikini-clad body in her own terms, posting a pic of her growing pregnant belly on her own social media.

"So, posting a bikini pic is a little out of character for me, but just now while I was at the beach I noticed I was being photographed," captioned the 33-year-old brunette. "I figure if this kind of photo is going to be out in the world it should at least be an image that makes me happy (and be one that was taken with my consent. And with a filter :)"

This is the first time Hathaway publicly acknowledges her pregnancy, after she's been photographed time and again with a growing belly that she's kept to herself -- so good for her for deciding when to show the world that she's becoming a mom soon!

In December, a source close to the Princess Diaries actress told E! Online that Hathaway was "trying to stay in shape" now that she's expecting and keeping as healthy as she could, but she wasn't agonizing about weight gain and, while she has some new cravings, she's stayed healthy for the time being.

Although Hathaway has a diva reputation, the source added that now that she's expecting her first child she "never complains" because, in fact, she's a "very low maintenance kind of woman."
