Ashley Benson Weight: Size 2 Actress Confesses Casting Director Called Her "Too Fat"

Ashley Benson is never shy about flaunting her enviable figure regularly on Instagram, so who would know that she was one of those actresses who struggles with the pressure of being thin in Hollywood? The Pretty Little Liars star opened up about being discriminated for her size two figure in Ocean Drive's January issue.

The 26-year-old has a body to die for but according to some Hollywood casting directors, her petite frame just isn't skinny enough.

Benson has shared that she was recently passed over for a role because she was "too fat," despite being a svelte size two.

“I was just told I was too fat for a part,” the actress revealed alongside her stunning photo shoot for the magazine. “I’m a size two!"

Despite the rejection, she claims that she moved past the insult, because letting it get to her may "cause a serious eating disorder." Benson also objects overly-Photoshopped images, sharing that her recent photo shoot was a disappointment because the actress revealed that she was unrecognizable in the photos after they were edited.

She didn't like the fact that they have retouched it so much that it ended up not looking like her at all and she fears that this may give young women the wrong idea. To show that she is normal just like everyone else, with insecurities and flaws, Benson posted a photo on her Instagram showing her applying zit cream.

Why did she post such an embarrassing pic? Other celebrities would go crazy to be caught with a zit cream on their faces but Benson said that she wanted to do it to show to her fans that she is not as perfect as they thought she is.
