CW's 'Legends Of Tomorrow' S01E07 'Marooned' Caity Lotz, Wentworth Miller Premiere Recap

The CW Network continues with the premiere of DC's Legends of Tomorrow. In episode 7, Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller) and Heat Wave (Dominic Purcell) join White Canary (Caity Lotz) as they take the fight to Vandal Savage (Casper Crump) in Marooned.

Alone in his quarters, Rip Hunter (Arthur Darvill) watches a holographic message of his wife and son. A week has passed, Martin Stein (Victor Garber) discovers the trail for Savage has grown cold. Heat Wave and Captain Cold are still team at each other. Eve Baxter sends in a distress call to Waverider asking for help. 

The Atom (Brandon Routh) is left in charge as the others dock onto the other ship. In an flashback, Hunter remembers when he kissed his wife after a simulation test. Rip had to face disciplinarian charges after getting caught. After Firestorm (Franz Drameh) gets a bad feeling, the team is suddenly attacked by time pirates.  

Canary talks to Cold about patching things up with Heat Wave. The time pirates tell Atom that they have his crew hostage. With a gun held to his head, Rip orders the Waverider to fire. Knowing he's the calvary, Martin removes the chip to the weapons system. As Cold covers up the hull, the Waverider disappears. 

With Canary and Cold trapped in the freezing compartment, Rip is thrown into a cell and meets Eve Baxter. Unimpressed by his team, Eve promises to arrest Rip and the others after she takes back the ship. In a flashback, Hunter and his wife have to deal with being discharged by the tribunal.

Cold asks Canary what it's like to be die; it's lonely. Cold remembers when he was in juvenile detention and was stabbed; Mick came in and rescued him. After Martin steals a disguise, Heat Wave starts an argument with Rip. After being insulted by Hunter, Heat Wave cuts his own deal.  

Heat Wave ends up getting a beatdown by the leader of the pirates. With his oxygen running low, Atom tries to close up the breach. As Cold and Canary hold onto each other, Hunter reveals he betrayed the time council for his family. In the flashback, his wife resigned but  Hunter was allowed to stay. 

Martin finally unlocks their cell door. Out of oxygen, Atom sinks deeper into outer space after patching the up the hull. Back on the ship, Hawkgirl (Ciara Renee) gets Atom's heart to start pumping again. With Heat Wave leading the charge, the time pirates enter the Waverider. 

During the fighting, Hunter shoots at the leader of the time pirates. As Canary and Heat Wave trade punches, Hunter ends up being strangled. Cold ends up shooting at Heat Wave. After defeating the leader, Hunter opens the hatch doors, evacuating the pirates. 

Baxter then gives Hunter a clue to where Savage is. In the flashback, Hunter found love with his wife and it changed them. Hawkgirl ends up kissing Atom. The team wonders what they should do with Heat Wave.

During their standoff, Cold points his gun and freezes Heat Wave.
