Randy Travis is still in critical condition today after suffering a stroke. He originally was having heart problems, and now he is heavily sedated.

The country community is in mourning, even a host on a popular country music television show out of Nashville took some time to explain how hard this whole thing is for him during his show. I will not say the name of the man, being as the point of this is not to exemplify his persona, but to let his message ring through.

The country station host began with his usual 20 second news update. The sound that generally cuts him off at the given amount of time he is supposed to spend went off, and he asked his crew to please reset it. After that followed the most intense minute and a half of truth spoken on the radio, national radio at that, when he went on to explain how he had grown up listening to Randy Travis. He has known of him since he was a little boy, how he met him not long ago, how he touched his heart, and how he got him where he is today. He choked up a couple times, and right there in that moment, we believe that this man was speaking on behalf of the entire country community.

Randy Travis has spent the last 25 years in the country scene. He is in a hospital now, and many people are sending out thoughts to the country star.
