President Barack Obama delivered his acceptance speech as the official Democratic GOP candidate at the DNC 2012 with mixed reactions. Though many have applauded the president for his speech about hope, others have criticized his speech as being the "same" as his previous speeches.

The Republican National Committee (RNC) put together a video titled "We've Heard It All Before" that compared portions of the President's speech in 2012 to his 2008 campaign speeches. The video concludes with the text "Same speeches. Same promises. Are you better off?"

The chairman of RNC REince Priebus was trying to prove the point that Obama was not bringing anything new to the table for a real change.

"He proved at the DNC that hope is fading fast and change is gone. President Obama has no tangible plan to fix our economy. He is offering more of the same failed policies that have not turned our economy around. He continues to recite the same tired excuses for his inability to keep the promises he made to the American people."

The Democratic National Committee spokesperson Melanie Roussell responded back and criticized Romney by saying, The fact is there is a clear choice in this election – between the President’s plan to move the country forward and Mitt Romney’s plan to take us back to the same failed policies of the past.”
