Andy Murray US Open Winner: Shocked By His Own Victory

Andy Murray is the US Open tennis men's final winner after defeating one of the top tennis players of the world Novak Djokovic.  Murray was surprised that he took home his first Grand Slam trophy ever.

"Novak is so, so strong. He fights until the end in every single match.  I don't know how I managed to come through in the end," he said to Howard Fendrich of AP.

Djokovic complimented Murray, "Great job, you deserve it," according to the New York Times.

The two tennis players gave their everything to the long game that lasted for over four hours.  

Now that Murray has finally achieved this championship, he can now join Djokovic, Rafael Nadal, Roger Federer as Grand Slam title holders.
