Scientology Tom Cruise New Wife Search: Church Forcing ‘Mission: Impossible 5’ Star to Find Girlfriend?

Is the Church of Scientology forcing Tom Cruise to find a new wife in order to help his reputation? Well, if you ask Life & Style, it's very well possible. But if you ask GossipCop, it's not so likely. Either way, the star is finding himself in the news for both this and that recent Mission: Impossible 5 trailer drop...

According to Life & Style (via GossipCop), the Church is trying to play matchmaker for Cruise by "putting several gung-ho (female) Scientologists through a graduate school-type program as a vetting process." All in order to see who can date Mr. Tom Cruise.

Which, if this is true, sounds all too much like an episode of The Bachelor, doesn't it?

Of course, despite the claim, GC notes that they were told the rumors were simply not true.

Then again, this wouldn't be the first time the Church of Scientology tried covering things up. Just saying ... watch HBO's Going Clear documentary.

Now, whether or not Cruise is having the Church make him a girlfriend is uncertain, but what is certain is the fact that the Mission: Impossible 5 trailer, which was released a little while back, makes us all forget about the fact that the actor may be a little crazy.

Though, seeing him hang from that flying airplane – and knowing that Tom Cruise does ALL his own stunts – makes us remember, "Oh yeah, he is nuts."
