Desiree Hartsock gets her heart broken on national television (once again) during last night's 'Bachelorette' episode (July 29th). While the "bachelorette" is supposed to be the one breaking hearts this time around, Brooks Forester beat Des to the punch when he surprisingly dumped her during part one of ABC's two-part 'Bachelorette' season finale. Spoiler alert: Brooks will apparently not be popping the question to Desiree during part two of the finale next week. Des may have been at the "finish line" with the long-haired marketing analyst, but the frontrunner (and the bachelorette's obvious first choice) removed himself from the race a week early. What do you get when the "Alive" singing trio Krewella collaborates with "Toulouse" DJ Nicky Romero? An electrifying new EDM track entitled "Legacy (Save My Life)." While the single was officially released Monday, July 15th, through Romero's label Protocol Recordings, the collaboration "Legacy" first made its debut back in March at Ultra Music Festival in Miami, notes Dancing Astronaut. With the success of Romero & Avicii's summer anthem "I Could Be the One" and the electro punk trio Krewella's latest single, "Live for the Night," quickly climbing the dance charts since it dropped last week, its no wonder ''Legacy'' is already #14 on the Beatport mainchart within the past 24 hours. After witnessing the train wreck that was Desiree Hartsock's hometown date during ABC's last "Bachelor" season with Sean Lowe, America tuned in to "The Bachelorette" Monday night, July 15th, hoping that that there would be no psychotic siblings this time around to ruin Des's second shot at love with the four remaining men on her own season: Drew Kenney, Zak Waddell, Brooks Forester, and Chris Siegfried. The ferocious lineup for Electric Zoo 2013 (announced a few months back) already has party animals eager to unleash their rage this labor day weekend, but today EZoo-ers were nearly put over the edge as the official trailer video for New York's Electronic Musical Festival has finally been released...(WATCH below). Celebrating its 5th year anniversary, the three-day EDM festival will take place Labor Day Weekend (August 30th-September 1st) at its usual New York City location, Randall's Island. After much delay, the multi-platinum-selling, international pop/R&B singer/songwriter Jay Sean is finally almost ready to release his highly anticipated fourth studio project: 'Neon.' After last night's episode (July 8th) of ABC's "The Bachelorette," which was filmed on beautiful Madeira Island in Portugal, America is one week closer to finding out which eligible contender will ultimately win the competition for Desiree Hartsock's heart. With Monday's rose ceremony resulting in the elimination of Michael G (the federal prosecutor), Des chose the final four men to continue on in the "race" during next week's "heat": the hometown dates. The electronic mogul, Moby, has finally completed his newest album entitled Innocents. The tentative release date (October 1st 2013), TRACKLIST, and tour plans to promote Moby's 11th studio album have recently been revealed via an announcement video from the DJ himself (watch below). For the follow up to 2011's Destroyed, Moby has decided to expand his social circle and recruited some guest collaborators to work with him on the LP including The Flaming Lips' Wayne Coyne, indie-folk songwriter Damien Jurado, alt-rock singer Mark Lanegan (Screaming Trees, Queens of the Stone Age), Cold Specks, Skylar Grey and Inyang Bassey, report Rolling Stone. The recent rumor that North America's largest music festival, EDC Las Vegas, will be expanding to two weekends in 2014 has finally been proven false! While buzz about what's in store for next year's Electric Daisy Carnival began circulating early last week (even before EDC Las Vegas 2013 concluded) Pasquale Rotella, founder of Insomniac Events, has confirmed via Twitter today that EDC Las Vegas will remain a single weekend event in 2014. Zedd will be spreading 'clarity' throughout a vast 'spectrum' of locations when the DJ embarks upon his newly announced 'Moment of Clarity' world tour throughout North America, UK, South America, Australia, & Asia beginning this August. While all of the locations for the world tour covering 6 continents in 4 months have not yet been unveiled, the 26 dates for the US & Canada stops have been announced (including Electric Zoo in NYC). The North American leg of the world tour kicks off in Boston on August 28th and concludes on October 3rd in Oregon (see all the US TOUR DATES below). While the 2013 'Firefly Music Festival' goers are still raving about their enlightening experience this past weekend at The Woodlands in Dover, Delaware, the time is already here to start planning for the return of the festival next year! The dates for Firefly 2014 (revealed only days after the wrap of this weekend's festivities) have officially been set for June 20-June 22, 2014 and pre-sale tickets were made available on Wednesday morning (June 26th). This year's 2nd annual Firefly Festival was undoubtedly a success with nearly 60,000 people flocking to the 87-acre Woodlands of Dover International Speeday to experience the 77-band lineup, notes The Inquirer. Avicii 'could be the one' to take electronic dance music to a whole new 'level' with the premiere of his newest single ''Wake Me Up." While the DJ's 2011 dance anthem, "Levels" helped to mainstream EDM a few years back, Tim Bergling's first song off of his upcoming album, 'TRUE,' can be considered anything but a typical house track. Avicii teased his new unexpected sound with a unique set during Miami's Ultra Music Festival back in March. It featured live instruments and a kind of country twang that left puzzled fans wondering if they were supposed to "do si do" rather than "beat the beat." Anyone who has been on Twitter within the past few days or hours has noticed that 'Drake' has constantly been trending and goofy Photoshopped pictures of the rapper sporting some old school 'Dada' gear continue to go viral! Drizzy hasn't been making many "new friends" on social media lately, thanks to his "unfortunate" outfit choice for the upcoming music video that will feature his latest hit single with DJ Khaled & Rick Ross: "No New Friends." A photo of Drake from the music video shoot (seen above) has recently surfaced the Internet and gone viral. It portrays the Canadian clad in an "urban" brand, that originated in the early 90's, known as Dada/Dada Supreme/Dada Footwear/Damani Dada (no this has nothing to do with the EDM duo Dada Life). As MTV News originally reported, "The onslaught of jokes from fans and critics was unreal, with the Take Care MC receiving unprecedented amounts of backlash for rockin' the brand once endorsed by Chris Webber and Latrell Sprewell."
