We all know that Cara Delevingne and Pharrell Williams are celebrity royalty, but now the pair are really aiming for Kate and Wills territory! In the new Karl Lagerfeld-directed short film Reincarnationfor Chanel, the pair are dressed to royally impress while dancing in Austro-Hungarian opulence. Now this is a royal couple we could get behind.

As US Weekly reports, the story behind the video is mesmerizing. "Per the film, Coco Chanel (embodied by Geraldine Chaplin) spots a liftboy (Williams) at her Salzburg hotel in 1954 and immediately becomes enamored with his chic topper."

The entirety of Reincarnation will premiere on Dec. 1, which is, as US Weekly point out, "the night before the next Chanel Metiers d'Art collection debut in Salzburg". Ooh. Fancy!

Pharrell also "composed and wrote the lyrics to "CC The World," the original soundtrack for Reincarnation," say Chanel, while Delevingne - who sings on the track - will be the "face of the upcoming campaign of the Paris-Salzburg 2014/15 Métiers d'art collection".

Chanel also stated that they worked with Pharrell because he was "a close friend of the House and personal friend of the designer".

Said Karl Lagerfeld, "It was time to show the origins of the Chanel jacket, inspired by the one worn by the lift attendant in a hotel near Salzburg in the 1950s (...) Reincarnation is the story of a lift attendant's jacket being reincarnated as a timeless piece of women's wear,".

The teaser video came out today, with 41-year-old Pharrell and 22-year-old Delevingne both teasing it on social media:

The official Chanel social media outlets also got in on the act, instagramming a picture of Pharrell throwing the classic Chanel logo.

What do you think? Is a Karl Lagerfeld video with Pharrell and Cara enough to get you excited for the Métiers d'Art collection premiere on Dec. 2? Is it too over the top? Or just right?
