The superheroes of the DC Comics and Marvel Comics finally meet in a live-action crossover. Green Lantern takes on The Hulk, The Flash is in a race against time, the Avengers assemble against Justice League in the DC vs Marvel fan-made trailer, which has become a viral Youtube sensation.
According to Comic Book Resources, the fan-made trailer was made by MR8866 and Alex Luthor. The first thing audiences will see is a message that states this is a non-profit for fun. The footage was put together by these two comic book aficionados for fun.
In order to explain how both universes mash-up, the Cosmic Cube has caused a rift between dimensions. The glowing bright light in the sky causes the attention of every superhero. Just like in the comics, everyone has to fight before they even get a chance to work with each other.
The footage has been spliced together from different sources. When Thor (Chris Hemsworth) throws his hammer, its hits Superman (Henry Cavill) in the chest, throwing him into the IHOP breakfast-chain restaurant. Notice how there's footage from Grant Gustin's The Flash TV series on the CW and the rejected Wonder Woman pilot, starring Adrianne Palicki.
Note how the colors have changed in The Man In The Yellow Suit scene from The Flash. In the TV show, the yellow bolt of lighting represents the Reverse-Flash when he's running. Because it's Marvel's Quicksilver doing the racing, the color has changed to blue to reflect his costume.
