This week saw one of the most creative, fan-made Star Wars short films of all time. Taking influences from anime and, of course, the Lucasfilm and Disney property, the talented Paul Johnson created a stylized, animated short film that runs just over 7 minutes long. Perhaps after 2015's The Force Awakens hits theaters, Johnson can get hired by the company for more films like this!

As we can see from the short film below, anime and Star Wars mix very well!
"What if there was an Empire-focussed short Star Wars animation, drawn with the crazy detail and shading of classic '80s anime that's all but vanished from Japan nowadays? Well, I tried my best," the creator of this video explained. "[...] if you enjoyed this, give someone at your workplace, uni, school or whatever a random bar of chocolate or can of Coke or something. Seriously, it'll probably make their day. That would totally make my day."
