Brutus is a young Rottweiler who very unfortunately suffered frostbite on his paws, therefore having to get them amputated. Living as a quadruple amputee dog isn't that easy, so a fundraising campaign started by his family raised enough money to get new 3D printed legs for Brutus from the Denver-based organization OrthoPets. Now the 2-year-old dog can run like he was born to do!

The funds were raised by a campaign called "Better Paws for Brutus," which has chronicled this miraculous journey on social media for all that want to learn about this lucky dog.

In a series of videos and photos, we learn that Brutus had lost some of his paws to the frostbite and a botched amputation by his breeder. After raising the funds for "better paws," the troubled areas were professionally removed and these new legs were created (via USA Today).

Brutus' new paws come from OrthoPets, which uses the same technology that is used for making human prosthetics.

"When you improve the quality of life for a dog, you improve the quality life for the entire family," his current physical therapist, Sasha Foster told Colorado's NBC 9News.

Currently working on getting used to his new, better paws, Brutus will hopefully have a happier life with these 3D printed legs. You can check out the local news coverage of this story in the following video right here:
