Arizona Diamondbacks pitcher Archie Bradley experienced one of the most gruesome injuries we've seen so far in the 2015 MLB season when one of his pitches was returned in the form of a line drive to the face. In the top of the second inning during the game against the Colorado Rockies, Carlos Gonzalez got hold of the pitch, resulting in a scary few minutes of Bradley on the ground, eventually coming back up with a swollen ride-side of his face. You can watch this viral video of the incident below.

There's swelling, but at this point they've found no fractures for Archie Bradley. Sounds like close to best-case given circumstances. — Nick Piecoro (@nickpiecoro) April 29, 2015
@ArchieBradley7 man I'm glad you're ok and that you stopped playing football for a safer sport like baseball
