International football, or soccer, is called "the beautiful sport" for a number of reasons, but a recent event in an MLS game this week has us second guessing the moniker. When Real Salt Lake player Luke Mulholland was worried a loose ball could've made it into his team's goal, he protected the near post like any good player would do. He also kept his eye on the ball, like a solid player does in a situation like this, but unfortunately took his eye of the post and paid dearly for it.
