Jesus Christ might not be that into gay marriage, but that doesn't seem to be stopping this little girl from celebrating. After the SCOTUS' decision to make same-sex marriage legal in all 50 states, celebrations sparked all throughout the country—largely in New York City's Gay Pride Parade. But in the below video, we're talking about first grader Zea and Columbus, Ohio. Zea reportedly stood up to a couple of protesters while holding a rainbow flag.
Which might very well make her the coolest kid on Earth.
Yes, maybe even cooler than those kids on Jimmy Kimmel Live! who were explaining their thoughts on gay marriage
BuzzFeed has the video of Zea's stand. In the piece, a religious protester is talking about Jesus Christ and the fact that he can give the child nothing but love—unlike the world, which can only apparently dole out heartache, divorce and pain.
Well, those words didn't stop Zea from waving her rainbow flag in the face of doubters. Check it out below:
If only we were there to high-five her...
Readers, what are your thoughts on Zea's stand against anti-gay-marriage protesters? How about the decision to legalize same-sex marriage? We know Hollywood is excited:
Gay marriage and health care, we won! Hooray for us! Now we can FINALLY focus on climate change, which -- wait, where are you going? Guys?
