While we're sure fans of Taylor Swift are used to only hearing about dating rumors and her romance with current boyfriend Calvin Harris, the "Bad Blood" songstress also makes headlines for her charitable actions. The DJ's girlfriend most recently donated $50,000 to a leukemia patient's GoFundMe page to raise funds for cancer treatment. Most viral videos or photos of Taylor Swift usually involved her Instagram and Twitter activity, sometimes with Calvin involved, but we're so excited to share this feel-good footage with you today. The donation went to Naomi, a young girl fighting the battle with cancer.
Taylor's donation to Naomi made GoFundMe raise its single donation level from a maximum of $15,000 to $50,000 in order to encourage more donations like this.
"Taylor Swift's donation was so generous that it required us to increase the donation limit on the platform," GoFundMe CEO Rob Solomon said in a statement, according to The Hollywood Reporter. "What Ms. Swift has done for Naomi and others can inspire the next generation of giving,"
