According to Mike Bartel, the YouTube uploader, this juvenile shark got a little overzealous while hunting seagulls and managed to beach himself on the shore. Though they kept their distance, onlookers became very concerned and officials were alerted to the distressed shark.

In order to keep the shark alive, buckets of water were continuously thrown onto the creature. We can see in the video that this helped keep the shark moving and breathing. The people on the beach apparently thought the shark was dead before witnessing his movements.

When rescuers arrived, a rope was tied to the shark's tale and then it was pulled into the shallows water by a boat. The shark did not immediately swim off though, so the team of rescuers helped him out further into the water, which is where the video ends.

According to reports, the shark was tagged and released back into the ocean, meaning it survived the ordeal.

Perhaps the best quote from this video has to be the woman shouting, "Don't get into the water," after the shark is moved into it. Thanks for the reminder, miss!
