After the hit YouTube family Sam and Nia revealed that they miscarried over the weekend, the loss of their third child hit the hearts of millions of followers the Vlogger couple have. After announcing their pregnancy on YouTube just about a week ago, the gut-wrenching update came just days later.

In their heartbreaking video, Sam and Nia announced that they had lost their little one, right after they found out they were pregnant once again.

"We were so happy," Nia said in tears. "We were so overjoyed and it looked like a huge celebration, and then it was just bam! It hit us like a bomb."

Nia continued, as she revealed that she had miscarried, "Those of you who have experience miscarriage before, I can relate now. I have felt my womb empty out."

The couple also confirmed the loss of their third child via Twitter when they tweeted to their fans:

"Our tiny baby brought 10M views to her video & 100k new people into our lives. She turned our life around & brought us closer together."

The added, "Some people misinterpreted our previous tweet. We're proud of our unborn child, and we just want to give her and Jesus the credit."

"God turned something so tragic into something so great for our family. We're extremely thankful for that."

The good news turned into sad news so fast that some people thought it was a publicity stunt. In an interview with PEOPLE, the couple revealed that they are stepping away from negative remarks after losing their daughter.

"We basically decided we're not going to address anything negative that could come from this," Nia shared with the magazine. "We have so much love and support, that's what we want to focus on ... our minds don't be need to be filled with negativity. We don't want to spread hate, we want to spread love in this situation."

Despite receiving comfort and support, Nia and Sam were questioned on how they already knew the gender of their unborn child. In the tweets above, the couple referred to their child that they lost as "her."

Such a sweet gesture that someone left on our porch last night! A mourning basket. Thank you Mr. or Mrs. Anonymous.

"My other two pregnancies early on, I felt what I was having, and I was right about both of them," Nia explained."I just really had that feeling, of course we didn't know for sure."

In the video below, some followers also questioned Sam's pregnancy test stragegy. It seemed staged because the father of two used his wife's urine from the night before to get the pregnancy test results. Usually people flush the toilet right after going to the restroom.

As for the future and how they will announce other pregnancies, Sam claims that journey will also be shared.

"We don't regret it at all, especially considering miscarriage is such a taboo subject. A lot of people feel they need to wait to announce their pregnancy but when you're pregnant, you're pregnant," Nia's husband said. "It shouldn't be something people need to hide."
