Although the younger attendees might not have known the rocker, Taylor Swift brought out Avril Lavigne at her San Diego stop in her 1989 world tour so that they could both sing Lavigne's hit song from the early 2000s, "Complicated." This seemed a bit of reconciliation after there was some overblown drama between the two singers via social media. Apparently the "Wildest Dreams" songstress liked a fan's Tumblr post that sanctified the way Swift treats her fans in comparison to others, Lavigne being one of the examples.

"Comparison is judging and judging a person does not define who they are it defines who you are. We all Love our fans," the Canadian rocker said on Twitter, according to The Hollywood Reporter via Yahoo! News. "So let's keep it all about the love and stay positive," she added, with a photo collage featuring happy fans.

Obviously the two worked things out and later after the performance Swift tweeted about the experience, "So incredible sharing the stage with @AvrilLavigne! 'Complicated' is such a brilliant pop song and I just love her."

Lavigne also seemed to have very positive things to say about Swift and performing with her. She posted a photo of the two performing on Instagram and wrote, "that it was a 'pleasure' to join Swift onstage. 'She ROCKS!'" Entertainment Weekly reports.

This performance in and of itself was very exciting for Lavigne, 30, because only recently she "returned to the stage for the first time last month since revealing her battle with Lyme disease," People says. Hopefully we can see a lot more of Lavigne and her talent that we all love! Swift is continuing her world tour for her album 1989 and will most likely continue to bring special guests up on stage. Just in Santa Clara she brought up Julia Roberts and Joan Baez and the Hollywood Reporter via Yahoo! News says that other guests have, "included Selena Gomez, Fifth Harmony, Justin Timberlake, Fetty Wap, Nick Jonas, The Weekend and Lorde. The trek continues Sept. 4 in Salt Lake City."
