Sharks are, well, terrifying but strangely fascinating at the same time. Hence the whole #SharkWeek craze. Yet in this new video which shows an enormously giant shark jumping out of the water, one Australian reporter assures us all that he's NEVER going back in the water again. And, honestly, we can't say we blame him.

Co-host of the Australian morning show Today, Karl Stefanovic, recently watched a video with his co-worker on live television which shows a shark launching itself out of the water. The both of them react as any normal-minded human being would. But for some reason, it's a million times better.

Take a look:

And because now we cannot stop looking at shark photos and videos:

When it comes to #jawsdropper(s) there can only be one winner. @iphotographsharks has shared some of the most incredible #GreatWhiteSharks photos these past two weeks with us and we applaud him for the diversity in images he's shared. Here are his thoughts on how shark imagery shapes our perception of these magnificent creatures: A female great white shark (Carcharodon carcharias) opens her jaws in attempting to grab a bite of tuna (outside of the frame). If you look closely you can see through the shark's first gill slit on her left side. While open-jaw shots are often common among white shark photography, they are only representative of the species' feeding behavior, which makes up a tiny fraction of a shark's routine behavior. White sharks spend a vast majority of the time calmly swimming around. They can actually go days at a time in between meals. I realize that a lot people appreciate the drama and ferocity of open-jaw shots, but I tend to try keep a balance between these kinds of shots and the more representative shots of sharks peacefully swimming along or curiously checking out my camera. There's so much more about them to share than just teeth and jaws. #Shweekend #SharkWeek #shark #sharks

While I was filming #GreatWhiteSharks in Australia,100ft down on the ocean floor, this inquisitive shark decided that it would be cool to come inside the cage with me! There wasn’t much space left in the cage for this shark, so unfortunately I could not let him in ;-) I think this shark realized the cage was crunchy on the outside, but chewy on the inside ;-) Great White Sharks are not malicious or evil creatures, however, they are professional predators that hunt and kill to survive. In most situations it’s wise to film Great Whites from the safety of a cage, and in every situation they should be treated with respect and caution! Tune into @SharkWeek "Shweekend" this Saturday & Sunday on @DiscoveryChannel for more amazing #SharkWeek specials! #ProfessionalPredators #AndyCasagrande #ABC4Explore - follow (@ABC4Explore) for cool shark photos & videos!
