During the Sunday Night Football matchup between the New York Giants and the Dallas Cowboys, the Giants wide receiver, Odell Beckham Jr., was crushed on a hit by the Cowboys safety, J.J. Wilcox, as Beckham Jr. tried to catch a ball in the middle of the field.

According to NJ.com, his incident occurred early in the first quarter as Beckham ran to the middle of the field to catch a pass. Wilcox immediately tackled Beckham in a successful attempt to knock the ball out of Beckham's clutch. As OBJ got up, he looked completely shaken up. He even walked over to the wrong sideline before making it back to the right one. Even when he got off the sideline, he didn't look any better.

According Yahoo Sports, NBC sideline reporter, Michelle Tafoya, Beckham Jr. refused to have a chat with the Giants' medical staff and immediately returned to the game two plays later. Beckham Jr. did not undergo any concussion protocol.

The fact that the NFL allowed this to happen is beyond ridiculous. Considering the fact that concussions are one of the biggest issues in the NFL, disregarding potential concussions is extremely dangerous, not only for NFL players, but for the NFL as well. Especially considering the recent discovery of CTE and its correlation with concussions.

Fortunately (yet unfortunately, at the same time), this was Odell Beckham Jr.'s only catch during the entire game, as Tony Romo's last minute touchdown led the Cowboys to take the win by one point. Romo threw an 11-yard touchdown pass to Witten with 7 seconds left, and the Cowboys overcame three turnovers, and beat the Giants 27-26.

The New York Giants' poor execution and horrible game management led to the Giants' loss in last night's game.

Hopefully OBJ isn't still too shook up by that hard hit from J.J. Wilcox, though he probably is disappointed by his team's loss.
