Alexis Bledel, Vincent Kartheiser Engaged: 'Mad Men' Actor Confirms Marriage Proposal to 'Gilmore Girls' Star

Alexis Bledel and Vincent Kartheiser met on the set of AMC's "Mad Men" for a short-lived affair, but it looks like their real life romance if taking the next step: marriage! The 31-year-old Bledel and 33-year-old Kartheiser are happily engaged after nearly a year of dating. Alexis portrayed the mentally imbalanced mistress to Kartheiser's Pete Cambell on the hit television drama and sparks flew off screen.

A rep of Bledel confirmed the engagement to Us Weekly earlier today and a friend of the actress reportedly said, "They couldn't be happier."
