'Teen Mom' Amber Portwood on Custody With Gary & Fiancé Matt's Multiple Kids

Teen Mom star Amber Portwood is already in the midst of major drama on her hit reality series after baby daddy Gary Shirley revealed her fiancé, Matt Baier , may have at least seven kids.

However, the MTV star is denying that revelation now and is talking to the media about her custody-sharing agreement with her ex.

"We had a little rough patch, but we are doing so much better," the reality star told People about her fiance. "He doesn't have seven kids but he does have more than what people know because we decided to keep it private. It's nobody's business."

As for her custody agreement with Gary, Amber says they realized they need to co-parent better for the benefit of their daughter, Leah.

"One day I when I was picking her up I just walked on his porch and said, 'We need to talk,'" the Indiana mom said. "I told him this isn't healthy for me or you or Leah and we really need to be adults and figure out what we are going to do."

"[Our communication] is pretty smooth," she went on. "I am enjoying it. And hopefully it stays this way between us."

Amber recently tweeted that her relationship with her daughter has never been better, "No matter what happened back then me and Leah are in a great place now, and I will never stop fighting for her until the day I die."

Apparently, her new custody arrangement is not the only thing looking up for Amber. She still has to plan her nuptials to Matt, set to take place later this year.

"It's at a halt right now, but it's still Oct. 10," she explained. "I just think I am really picky when it comes to where I want to get married. Do I want it to be in Indiana or in Malibu? Because that is my dream wedding -- on the beach in Malibu."
