Jurassic World actress Bryce Dallas Howard attended the Golden Globes on Sunday wearing a beautiful dark blue dress, but it wasn't the look that caught everyone's eye. On the red carpet, Ron Howard's daughter confessed she'd bought her own dress at retail because she's a size 6 and premiere day loans don't usually come in her size.

Howard spoke to E! News' Giuliana Rancic during the award show, who was amazed to hear that, just like a regular human being, Howard had gone up to department store Neiman Marcus and picked up her own Jenny Packman dress.

Why, you ask?

"Because I like having lots of options for a size six as opposed to maybe one option, so I always go to department stores," shared the 34-year-old redhead, earning a high-five from the Fashion Police panelist.

Of course, Hollywood being Hollywood, this became news. Most of the times, stars who walk down the red carpet of one of these major events are wearing loans from some of the biggest designers in the world, who also use these occasions to put their brands forward by having big names wearing their clothes.

Still, Howard's dress wasn't exactly taken off of the sales rack, as The Daily Mail reports it still cost $4,800. Packman's designs have one other big stylish fan: Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, who is often seen wearing the British brand.

In any case, Howard's revelation that it's hard for her to find designer dresses that will fit her regular-sized figure has become viral since the award show, with The Washington Post saying that her explanation had "won the Golden Globes red carpet."

In all, the actress' remarks, although casual, did stir something up: she's shared a little of the world of what it's like to be a "plus-sized" actress of barely a size 6. Hopefully, stylists in Tinseltown will catch the message!
