Ex-husband of the late Whitney Houston, Bobby Brown, is wearing an ankle bracelet after serving eight hours behind bars for a 55-day jail sentence.  The jail time was in association with DUI conviction, in which Brown pleaded no contest to DUI and driving with out a license in February, according to the Los Angeles Times

Brown, who is a member of New Edition and had a successful solo career in the past, has struggled with drugs and alcohol addiction through out his life.  Over the course of his marriage to singing sensation, Whitey Houston from 1992-2007 the couple appeared on the Bravo reality show "Being Bobby Brown," which displayed erratic behavior and clarified rumors of a drug induced marriage.

Although Brown told the "Today" show in April 2012, that the reality show gave them a "walkup call" his battle with alcoholism persisted. Brown's current wife, Alicia Etheredge revealed to Radar Online that Brown did a stint in rehab in August 2012.

Brown received two DUI charges in 2012 and is currently ordered to attend three Alcoholics Anonymous meetings per week, in addition to attending an éé 18-month alcohol treatment program, according to US Magazine
