Forrest City Waffle House customers were in for a shock when they witnessed workers doing hair in the restaurant's kitchen while they were eating. The Waffle House workers were fired after customers found hair in their food.

One customer named Antonio Robinson said that his friend pulled strings of hair from his mouth after a female worker was caught on camera dipping her hair in a pot. "He was just coughing. Cough. Cough. Making noises like that," he said. "I looked up at him, he went to pulling out strings of hair out his mouth."

Robinson told reporters that he started filming the Waffle House employees doing their hair using kitchen equipment, and said that one of the workers "dipped her hair down in the pot and when it came back up she was drying it off with one of the towels."

It didn't seem bizarre to Robinson, because he said that he has seen people do their hair that way at home, but never inside of a restaurant.

According to WREG, St. Francis County health inspectors launched a full investigation after the video went viral. One inspector made it clear that it is a health violation anytime food is found inside of a resturant kitchen.

A WREG reporter asked the manager of the Waffle House were the employees actions "acceptable."

The manager who fired the workers replied saying, "That's not acceptable. That's why we terminated them." He added, "I was embarrassed. But it's all taken care of now. That's all I can say."
