Mariah Carey Divorce Traumatized Nick Cannon? 'Real Husbands of Hollywood' Swears Off Marriage

It seems like the divorce from Mariah Carey was tougher on Nick Cannon that anyone thought. Now that the "Without You" singer has found love again with Australian billionaire James Packer, her Real Husbands of Hollywood ex husband has sworn off marriage in 2016.

Recently speaking with DuJour, Cannon addressed the issue of whether he'd consider walking down the aisle again now that he's in the middle of divorce proceedings with Carey.

Comparing marriage to jumping off a plane, the star said there was a 50/50 chance of surviving it.

"There's like a 50/50 chance of a marriage working. If it didn't work out for you the first time, and you still survived it, you probably shouldn't do it again," Cannon told the publication, and his interviewer promptly asked whether he'd consider getting married again later. "I highly doubt it."

Although Cannon and Carey have remained supportive of each other throughout their divorce, there have been numerous rumors of supposed drama between them since news of their split broke out.

Last year, for example, Hollywood Take reported that there were rumors that Cannon had signed up to write a tell-all book about his relationship with the diva, though it appears that he signed a non-disclosure agreement about their time together. That would prevent him from basically speaking ill of his ex publicly, let alone write a detailed account of their time together.

For months, Carey had been rumored to be on the verge of a breakdown, though she later landed a short Las Vegas residency at Caesar's Palace and then found love again in Packer, and she seems to be doing much better for herself these days.

In any case, the drama between the two exes seems to be happening on headlines more than anything, as Cannon and Carey recently spent at least part of their holidays together. The former couple vacationed with their fraternal twins, Moroccan and Monroe.
