A daring LeBron James fan ran onto the court during Wednesday nights Miami Heat vs Cleveland Cavalier game, in Cleveland. The fan wore a homemade t-shirt that read "We Miss You" in addition to a message for James: Return to Cleveland in 2014.
The fan 'James Blair', according to his Twitter account, identifies himself as the "biggest LeBron James fan ever." Prior to the Cleveland court ambush, Blair tweeted his plans to run onto the court to meet his favorite NBA baller. By the fourth quarter of the game he got up the courage to make his move.
Following the incident he tweeted James and asked him to follow him back on Twitter:
"He said he missed me and come back, please," James said. "It happened once before in (Madison Square) Garden, so I wasn't worried. There are metal detectors here (at Quicken Loans Arena), so we were OK. I embraced it."
James and The Miami heat have been on a NBA winning streak, with 24 consecutive wins. James will have the opportunity to become a free agent again in 2014.
