Tim Tebow--former NFL quarterback, current SEC analyst, and all around nice guy--will be organizing over 200 proms this year for people with special needs, taking place in 48 states and 8 countries.

This is the second consecutive year Tebow has organized such an event--albeit on a grander scale. In 2015, during the Valentines Day weekend, he sponsored 44 proms in 26 states, as well as Uganda and Kenya. More than 7,000 people with special needs participated in their first prom experience thanks to more than 15,000 volunteers around the globe.

The series of proms is called a "Night to Shine." A video from last year captured some of the highlights from the evening.

And while last year's series of proms was the first of its kind, it's been something Tebow has had in mind for a long time.

"When I was 15 years old, I began to realize the importance of fighting for people who can't fight for themselves," Tebow said, via PEOPLE. "As a foundation, we are so passionate about people with special needs, and this event is a great time to tell them how much they are loved by God and by all of us."

A Night to Shine allows its guests to experience all the glitz and glamor of a regular Hollywood party. They walk in on a red carpet, where their pictures are taken by "friendly paparazzi." Inside they have hair and makeup stations at their disposal, as well as a karaoke room that is sure to be lively. And yes, of course, there is dancing. Lots of it.

Needless to say, it's a special night for everybody. In fact, it might just be someone's favorite night of the year.

"Every time I think about it, I'm so humbled and amazed by the way God has continued to grow Night to Shine," said Tebow, via PEOPLE. "I can't wait for February 12th; it's my favorite night of the year."
