John Legend Reveals His Fatherhood Hopes for Future Daughter

With a future "daddy's girl" on the way, John Legend sort of revealed his fatherhood hopes for his future daughter. During a chat with People, Legend who is expecting his first child with supermodel, food lover and FABLife host, Chrissy Teigen, said that he hopes he does the right things for his little one. “You just want to do the right things. You want to teach the children how to be good people, how to be intelligent and aware and kind and all those things,” the "You and I" singer told the magazine.

Being optimistic, Legend said that he was confident that all other worries would fall into place.

“Everything else will work itself out if you give them the tools that they need to be successful. They’ll go to good schools and they’ll have influences around, we know that, but you just want them to be good people and contribute good things to the world.”

MStars News loves covering stories about the adorable couple, and we were thrilled when we learned that the singer and his wife were expecting back in October. During a past episode of FABLife, [seen below] Teigen recalled how she told the world that she was pregnant.

"It's so hard keeping a secret," the 30-year-old previous shared while thanking her co-host for supporting her throughout her first trimester. Teigen revealed that the photo she and her husband decided to post to reveal that they were pregnant had a lot of "staging" behind it.

"I love that photo because it looks so natural. But let me tell ya how much staging went behind that, it was a lot. There was a table in the back, I was like 'we gotta get this table out, there's an outlet, no outlets can be shown,'" she joked.

Teigen also said that she and her husband were really excited to become parents. "Yesterday he texted me, [that he was] writing our song for our baby." How cute!
