Lil Wayne reportedly walked off stage and threw his microphone while performing his track "John" in Italy for Milan Fashion Week on January 16. He allegedly stormed off stage during his live show for designer Philipp Plein.

It was first claimed that the 33-year-old got frustrated with the audience as he tried to get them to throw their hands up during his performance but he didn't get the reaction that he wanted.

Lil Wayne was in Italy to perform in Milan Fashion Week and was set to sing his track during the Philipp Plein show. Previous reports said that the singer didn't appreciate the fact that the audience were not enjoying his music, that lead him to have a meltdown on stage by throwing his microphone and walking out.

Since the meltdown was first blamed to the not-so-supportive audience, it was thought that they probably didn't know who he was, or they just didn't like his performance. Whatever the reason was, Wayne was obviously upset by the situation.

Despite the reports that he got frustrated with the audience, Lil Wayne's reps told TMZ that the crowd wasn't the reason why he walked off stage, instead it was because there were "technical difficulties" with the sound of his microphone.

After walking off stage, he posted a tweet later that night showing his anger at the situation, saying, “N****z in Italy slime.”

Lil Wayne will head out on The Dedication Tour with Rae Sremmurd next week.
