Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, who is currently hosting the ninth season of Bigg Boss, has teamed up with Colors to host the Indian version of the reality show, The Farm.

The Farm is a reality show and is hugely popular across many countries and, according to Pink Villa, the series will be set inside of an actual village and all the contestants will be seen farming, milking cows and raising animals as part of their daily chores. At regular intervals, one of the contestant from the show will get evicted.

In Sept. 2015, Khan had told DNA that his next reality show will be in line with Bigg Boss, wherein the viewers will see 12 popular celebrities participating in different tasks.

"The entire show will be set inside a farm where the contestants will be seen farming, harvesting and even milking their own cows. We have already discussed the same idea and we both are collaborating on it soon," Khan added.

He further added that The Farm will have everything from values of living to entertainment.

According to Filmy Monkey, Salman's rumored girlfriend and TV host, Lulia Vantur, is currently hosting the Romanian version of The Farm. The actress recently posted a picture of herself on her official Instagram handle stating that she is travelling to Cyprus to shoot The Farm.

In other news, Khan has started shooting for Sultan where he will be playing a 40-year-old wrestler, a role that he has undergone a strict physical regime to play. According to Bollywood Life, the actor is being trained in mixed martial arts by Hollywood action director, Larnell Stovall.

"The film's first schedule begins on November 21 and Salman will begin shoot without a heroine." Bollywood Life reported.

Sultan is scheduled to release sometime during the festive season in mid-2016.
