Are Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth Engaged Again? Instagram Ring Raises Questions!

It's been two years since Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth broke off their engagement, and a lot has happened for both of them since, professionally, from her "Wrecking Ball" to his Independence Day: Resurgence casting. Now, as rumors of them getting back together are all over the web, Cyrus' Instagram shows a ring that looks quite familiar!

Cyrus recently took to the social network to share a few new pictures where one big rock was visible, and if it's not the engagement ring she got from Hemsworth, it must be one looking just like it.

Back in 2012, when Hemsworth first proposed to his co-star from The Last Song, Hollywood Life reported that the ring he'd chosen was a custom-designed Neil Lane "3.5-carat cushion-cut diamond ring, handcrafted in 18-carat gold" that cost around $100,000. The beautiful piece of jewelry has been off Cyrus' hand for two years, and now that she's been spotted with Hemsworth time and again, it's suddenly there again, so obviously everyone's assuming their engagement is back on.

According to Entertainment Tonight, Cyrus and Hemsworth welcomed in the New Year together in his native Australia, and they were then spotted showing some serious smooch-and-hug PDA at the Falls Music & Arts Festival. It seems like the way they got back together (or at least found each other again) was when the singer helped her ex find a new rescue dog to adopt – and it's really hard to find a cuter way to get back together than through an adorable puppy.

Us Weekly spoke to sources close to Cyrus and Hemsworth, and on both sides, it appears as if they had struggled to get past each other through this entire time. If that's really the case, it would seem like the two just needed some time to grow up and accept each other before getting back together.
