Blake Shelton and Christina Aguilera used to have mad love for each other as coaches in the popular singing competition, The Voice, but it seems that they are now getting into each other's nerves and Gwen Stefani wants to end this feud in the sweetest way possible.

Since Shelton, Aguilera and herself will be spending more time together in Season 10, Stefani wanted a more friendly environment for all of them. So she plans to invite the 35-year-old diva for a nice dinner and she will make sure that her man will also be there.

“Gwen was eager to clear the air with Christina so she reached out to her with the sweet gesture," a source explained to Hollywood Life. "She wants to let her know how much she respects her and that she has absolutely no intention of replacing her on The Voice.”

It was previously reported that the beef between Shelton and Aguilera started when the 39-year-old country crooner tried everything in his power to keep his rocker girlfriend on set of The Voice, even if that would mean jeopardizing Aguilera's return.

“Blake’s not being subtle about campaigning for Gwen to stay on at Christina’s expense," the insider claimed. "It’s made things very tense on set.”

This didn't sit well with the "Lady Marmalade" singer and she even went on to say that Shelton and Stefani "are ganging up on her and playing dirty. She feels totally stabbed in the back.”

Before that drama will further escalate, Stefani made a sweet gesture to get rid of the negativities and start fresh for the next season.

“When they all reunite on the show, Gwen wants to make sure there are no ill will feelings about her coming back as a mentor,” the source said. “Plus she doesn’t want there to be weird vibes between Christina and Blake.”
