The January 18, 2016 episode of WWE's Monday Night Raw emanates live from the Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio, and Roman Reigns faces Brock Lesnar before the Royal Rumble this Sunday. We've got the full results of the show for you, so let's see what unfolded.

The show begins with a tribute to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. for MLK Day.

WWE World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns comes through the crowd. He says Sunday will be one vs. all when he defends the title in the Royal Rumble match, but tonight his focus is on Brock Lesnar. He calls out The Beast, but Chris Jericho, who will host Lesnar later on the Highlight Reel, comes out instead. He invites Reigns to join the segment later, and the champ accepts.

The League of Nations comes out and Sheamus reminds us all that the Royal Rumble isn't Roman Reigns vs. Brock Lesnar. One of the League members will win the title instead. Each of the League members take a turn on the microphone before we somehow get Y2J booking himself as the special guest referee in a match between Roman Reigns and Rusev.

The League tries to interject in the match, so Jericho ejects all of them and Reigns hits the Superman Punch and the spear for the win.

Backstage, Jericho is all smiles until Stephanie McMahon runs into him and tells him to stop living in 1999. They trade barbs until she ends the conversation with a threat.

Natalya, joined by Paige for some reason, defeats Brie Bella with the Sharpshooter.

The Waytt Family defeats Ryback and The Dudley Boyz after Luke Harper drills Bubba Ray Dudley with a superkick and a clothesline.

Big Show squashes Heath Slater with the KO Punch. The giant then knocks out the rest of the Social Outcasts.

Backstage, The League of Nations are complaining about Jericho when Stephanie McMahon arrives to encourage them. Sheamus says the League isn't scared of anyone, and Steph tells them to prove it.

Vince McMahon and Stephanie McMahon hit the ring to announce the No. 1 entrant into the Royal Rumble on Sunday. They have one of those bingo tumbler machines and they draw Roman Reigns as No. 1. For some reason, they do this twice more.

Becky Lynch defeats Tamina Snuka with the Disarmer. Charlotte and Ric Flair were at ringside for this one. After the match, Becky gets on the mic and asks Charlotte about a rematch for the WWE Divas Championship. The champ declines, so Becky asks Ric Flair if his Hall of Fame friends would be proud of Charlotte for acting like such a coward. Ric Flair accepts on behalf of his daughter, who looks shocked.

Alberto Del Rio and Sheamus defeat Dean Ambrose and Kalisto when Kevin Owens, who was on commentary, takes out Ambrose. This lets Del Rio hit an enziguiri. Back in the ring, Kalisto tries for Salida Del Sol, but Sheamus dodges and hits a Brogue Kick for the win.

The New Day has a funeral for Francesca the trombone after Jericho destroyed her last week. Big E then defeats Jey Uso with the Big Ending after The New Day distracts Jey.

Mark Henry, Titus O'Neil, R-Truth, and Neville talk backstage. The four men then defeat The Ascension, Stardust, and Tyler Breeze after Breeze eats a few finishers.

Chris Jericho starts the Highlight Reel, but Paul Heyman comes out instead of Brock Lesnar. He and Jericho exchange some words, with Y2J claiming that Heyman failed in his attempt to get Lesnar into the main event of WrestleMania 32, and Heyman retorting that Lesnar was never pinned at WrestleMania 31, so he shouldn't have to be in the Royal Rumble in the first place. But because he does have to be in there, he will slaughter everyone in front of him, win the belt, and move on to WrestleMania.

Jericho asks what happens if the Rumble comes down to him and Lesnar and he throws the Beast over the top rope. Before anyone can address such a ludicrous hypothetical, Lesnar's music hits, but Reigns' heads through the crowd before Lesnar can eat Jericho for a snack.

Reigns puts down the title and spears Lesnar immediately upon entering the ring. He clubs Lesnar until The League of Nations rushes the ring to attack the champion. Lesnar recovers and takes out the League, and Reigns uses this opening to spear him again.

The Wyatt Family then comes out and surrounds the ring. Bray Wyatt takes out Reigns with Sister Abigail, and the entire family then attacks Lesnar. Bray manages to drop him with Sister Abigail too and the Wyatts stand tall as the show goes off the air.
