It's fair to say Cam Newton is a stylish individual. Every week after the football game, he shows up to the post game press conference in something nice--a good suit, unique footwear, jorts, or a fancy new hat. Most recently it was a hat. After the Carolina Panthers NFC Divisional Round win over the Seattle Seahawks, Newton took to the podium to address the press. He was sharply dressed with a beanie like hat used as a neat accessory. But this wasn't just any hat. Oh no. It was an expensive hat--some $360 expensive--and it was also a women's hat.

Thanks to the research department at Yahoo! Sports, we know this to be fact (after clicking on the link, it's apparent Newton had his usual charismatic effect -- the hat is out of stock).

Newton, no doubt, was feeling extra confident, even more confident than his usual confident self, because the Panthers now find themselves 1-game away from the Super Bowl. Newton deserves much of the credit, too. The former No. 1 overall pick in the NFL Draft is the frontrunner for league MVP.

He led his team to the best record in the NFL, throwing a touchdown once every 14 pass attempts--which was tops in the league--totalling 35 TD's in all. Not only that, but he added 10 touchdowns on the ground, good enough for 5th best in all of the NFL. Guys, that includes running backs and Newton isn't a running back.

The MVP award will be announced on Feb. 6.

As for the rest of the team, they are getting ready for the Arizona Cardinals in the NFC Championship game. It's a matchup of the two best teams in the conference and one that is sure to be full of excitement. The only question now becomes: will the game be as exciting as what Newton will wear afterward?
