Gwenyth Paltrow in "Iron Man 3" Trailer as Pepper Potts [VIDEO]

After two years films of Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) battle it out as Iron Man, Pepper Potts played by Gwenyth Paltrow, will finally get in on the battle.

Pepper, will be suiting up to help take on the newest villain, Mandarin, played by Ben Kingsley. Stark's mission to protect Pepper is compromised by his new nemesis, and we can guess that this battle will force Pepper to take matters into her own hands.

This development closely follows Pepper's story line in the Marvel Comics series "Invincible Iron Man," wherein Potts took on the hero name Rescue and aided Iron Man on missions, according to MTV News.

The film lands in theaters on May 3, but you can check out the "Iron Man 3" trailer below.
