Amy Schumer is defending herself against accusations that she has been stealing jokes. She stopped by Jim Norton's Sirus XM radio show to set the record straight.

The comedian immediately started off the show by addressing the accusations that she has been stealing jokes. She stated that it was the sole purpose for her making the appearance on Norton's show. Schumer said that she "never ever ever would do that" and that she intends to take a polygraph test on her show Inside With Amy Schumer. She promised that she would make sure the results were shown no matter what.

Comedians Wendy Liebman, Kathleen Madigan and Tammy Pescatelli are all saying Schumer used material from their various specials. Her response to that was simply that she had never seen any of the specials in question. She went on to share that she comes up with a lot of material for her show, as well as the material for Trainwreck and that none of the issues with her material had ever come up before. She then reiterated that she would never steal another comedian's jokes.

Schumer chalks up the allegations to jealousy saying "People build people up and then like to rip them down when they experience some success. I think people get upset by success ... I don't even take it personally." She went on to make it clear that she would continue to defend her name. "I will not be another one of those comics who gets accused of stealing jokes. That will not be part of my name. I will not take this lying down."

Since the Trainwreck star said her piece, Liebman sent out a couple of Tweets on the subject. "I never said @amyschumer stole my joke. I just said it was the same. It's possible we both wrote it. I just wanted you to know I wrote it 1st." Shortly after the comedian followed up with this what is supposed to be a funny message. "I think both @amyschumer and I like it when a man pays...for sex. #greatminds #parallelthinking"
